Driving For Work
It's estimated that around 200 road deaths and serious injuries each
week involve someone at work. Around one third of all crashes are estimated to involve someone who was at work at the time -
meaning that up to 1,000 lives are lost a year where someone is driving for work.
THINK! strategy for driving for work
The previous campaign, launched in March 2007, had as its main target
audience men aged between 17 and 39 who drive vans for work.
The new targets are both employers and employees in the campaign launched
in March 2008.
For more information on driving for work for employers, as well as
tips for drivers, see the Department for Transport driving for work website.
